About MUSO Art Gallery

EN: MUSO Art Gallery showcases group exhibitions featuring international, contemporary artists across a variety of mediums, including painting, photography, sculpture, and video. The gallery seeks to create meaningful connections between different forms of artistic expression—spanning the visual arts, poetry, music, and more.

Inspired by the work of the renowned Portuguese poet Teixeira de Pascoaes, the gallery was for tree years located directly across from the house where he was born. Even its name pays homage to his legacy. However at the moment gallery is in process of changing its location.

Curated by artist Zuzanna Olowska Hope, MUSO also functions as an Art and Interior Design Studio, offering personalized design services and consultations. Zuzanna accepts private commissions, including portraits, and leads an Art School specializing in oil painting and drawing. Classes are available for both locals and visiting tourists, taking place within the gallery or en plein air by the serene Tâmega and Ovelha River. Currently studio classes are being held at the stunning nature location in São Simão de Gouveia, or for the group classes at the DesArts GuestHouse in Amarante.
